# How to create a flow.

Let's create a flow.

#### Step 1: Log in to the Klaviyo site with your registered email ID.

#### Step 2: After clicking on the flow, you will see an option called Create a flow.

#### Step 3: When you click on the Create flow button, click on the Build your own button.

#### Step 4: After giving the flow a name, click on the Create flow button.

#### Step 5: When you have to select the trigger, go to your metrics and select the API button.

#### Step 6: After making the changes, click on the confirm and save.

#### Step 7: You can also change the email name and the subject from static to dynamic.

#### Step 8: When you click on the templates, you got an option to add templates fpr that click on the add templates.

#### Step 9: After that you have so many options to select a default theme, or you have to create your own.

#### Step 10: After everything, click on the preview and next.

#### Step 11: If you want that your customer should not get mail regularly, you can turn of this Skip recently emailed profiles.

#### Step 12: After setting up everything, you can set your flow live. Just click on save, and in your Klaviyo dashboard you can see the flow's status.
