Custom Field Settings

The Custom Field Settings page allows you to control how additional customer information is presented. These settings help ensure consistency in layout and improve readability for customers when viewing or filling out custom fields.


Page Title Prefix

The Page Title Prefix adds a consistent label to the title of the Custom Fields page.

This prefix helps:

  • Improve clarity for customers

  • Maintain consistent naming across your account

  • Support better branding and recognition

For example, adding “Additional Information” will clearly indicate the purpose of the page to customers.


Layout Preference

The Layout Preference setting determines how custom fields are displayed on the page.

You can choose from the following layout options:

Grid – 2 items in a row Displays fields in a compact two-column grid. This layout works well when you have a small number of short fields.

Grid – 3 items in a row Displays fields in a three-column grid. This option is suitable for larger screens and helps reduce vertical scrolling.

List – All fields in a single column Displays all fields in a single vertical list. This layout is recommended when fields contain longer text or require more space.

Selecting the appropriate layout helps balance readability and page organization.
