# Product Metafields Import

## Overview

* With the Metafield Import feature, you can add or update the product metafield with ease.
* To update/add the metafields first, you need to create the CSV file for the product metafields.
* First, you need to export the current product metafields by export feature if you have the existing metafield in the products.
* If you do not have the existing metafield, you need to create metafield in the Shopify store settings or just create the custom metafield by App.
* By the help of the Custom metafield feature you can crate new matafields for the products.
