# Import Existing Product Metafield

## Overview

**Step 1**: Go to the Product Metafield from the homepage or from the navigation.

**Step 2**: Choose metafield type as Existing meta fields

**Step 3**: Select the import type either Product SKU or Handle based on the data that you have<br>

**Step 4**: Now, you have to import the file that you prepared with the metafield.<br>

**Step 5**: Once you imported the file it will take up to 5 minutes
