Create Field – Date Field

The Date field allows customers to select a specific date while giving merchants full control over which dates are allowed or restricted. This is useful for delivery dates, appointments, special events, or scheduling preferences.


Field Label *

Defines the label shown to customers above the date picker.

Example values:

  • Preferred Delivery Date

  • Appointment Date

  • Event Date


Edit Field Option

Allowed Dates

Specify individual dates that customers are allowed to select.

Format: YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY-MM-DD

Example: 2026-01-15, 2026-01-20

Only the listed dates will be selectable.


Blocked Dates

Specify individual dates that should be unavailable for selection.

Format: YYYY-MM-DD, YYYY-MM-DD

Example: 2026-01-18, 2026-01-19

These dates will be disabled in the date picker.


Allowed Date Range

Limit selection to a specific start and end date.

Example:

  • Start Date: 2026-01-10

  • End Date: 2026-01-31

Customers can only select dates within this range.


Blocked Date Range

Prevent date selection within a specific time period.

Example:

  • Start Date: 2026-01-22

  • End Date: 2026-01-25

Useful for holidays, maintenance periods, or blackout windows.


Allowed Days of Week

Allow selection only on specific days.

Example: Monday, Wednesday, Friday


Blocked Days of Week

Disable specific weekdays.

Example: Saturday, Sunday

Ideal for businesses that operate only on weekdays.


Required Field

When enabled, customers must select a date before proceeding.


Make Field Full Width

Expands the date field to use the full width of the layout, improving visibility on mobile devices.


Preview Section

Displays how the date picker will appear to customers, including disabled and enabled dates.
