The Insureful × Klaviyo integration follows a simple event-based workflow:

1. An insurance-related event occurs in Insureful\
   (e.g., insurance added, claim initiated, claim resolved).
2. Insureful sends the event data securely to the connected Klaviyo account via API.
3. Klaviyo records the event as a **metric**.
4. That metric triggers a Klaviyo **Flow** (email or internal notification).
   1. The flow runs automatically, delivering the right message at the right time.

This removes the need for manual emails and improves the post-purchase customer experience.

### How to Integrate Klaviyo with Insureful

Follow the steps below to connect Klaviyo with Insureful.

### Step 1 – Generate API Keys in Klaviyo

1. Log in to your **Klaviyo Dashboard**
2. Click your **profile icon** (bottom-left)
3. Go to **Settings → API Keys**
4. Under **Private API Keys**, click **Create Private API Key**
5. Enter a name, e.g., `Insureful`
6. Select **Full Access**
7. Click **Create** and copy the **Private API Key**
8. Copy the **Public API Key** from the same page

You will need both keys in the next step.

### Step 2 – Connect Klaviyo in Insureful

1. Open your **Insureful Dashboard**
2. Navigate to **Settings → Integrations**
3. Find **Klaviyo** under Marketing Integrations
4. Click **Activate**
5. Paste: **Private API Key**
6. Click **Connect**

Once connected, Insureful will begin sending insurance-related event data to Klaviyo automatically.

### Step 3 – Available Insureful Events in Klaviyo

After successful integration, Insureful events will appear in Klaviyo as metrics.

Common events include:

* Insureful Claim Request for Admin
* Insureful Claim Request for Customer
* Insureful Claim Refund Order,'
* Insureful claim Re-order Email For Customer
* Insureful Claim Cancel Order

(Exact event names may vary slightly depending on configuration.)

### Step 4 – Create Flows in Klaviyo

1. Go to **Flows → Create Flow**
2. Select **Build Your Own**
3. Name your flow\
   Example: *“***Claim Requested Email For Customer***”*
4. Choose **Your Metrics**
5. Select the relevant **Insureful metric**
6. Confirm the trigger

### Step 5 – Design Your Email

Add an **email action** to your flow and customize:

* **Subject:**\
  \&#xNAN;*Your Order is Protected with Insureful*
* **Content ideas:**
  * What the insurance covers
  * How to file a claim
  * Reassurance and trust messaging

Save and **enable** the flow.

Your emails will now send automatically whenever the selected Insureful event occurs.
